Business Continuity Training
We offer a variety of courses in Business Continuity Management and ICT Continuity from introductory awareness courses to practitioner level training. So, whether you are looking to learn about Business Continuity as a discipline, raise awareness of business continuity and your plans within your organisation, gain an awareness of business continuity within a management role or are a business continuity specialist, we will be able to cater for your training needs.
Business Continuity Institute endorsed training
Our two-day Foundation in Business Continuity Management course is approved by the Business Continuity Institute under its endorsed training scheme. The course is highly interactive comprising tutor-led input with practical sessions to practise key business continuity methods such as the business impact analysis and risk assessment. It concludes with a scenario-based workshop to rehearse decision-making and actions during the response and recovery phases following an incident.
We are also a licensed provider of the revised Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Good Practice Guidelines modules. This is a modular course which develops delegates understanding and awareness of Business Continuity based on the Business Continuity Lifecycle:
BCM Principles: Policy, culture and programme management
BCM Analysis: Understanding the organisation
BCM Design: Determining BCM strategies
BCM Practices: Developing and implementing a BCM response
BCM Practices: Exercising, maintenance & review

Bespoke business continuity courses, on-site delivery
The courses will be tailored to meet your business objectives, culture and the needs of your staff, their role and level of expertise. Our delivery is supported by a training needs analysis to provide focus and objectivity. This ensures your staff will gain maximum value from the training and your investment.
Our courses are delivered on-site at a location of your choice helping you maximise your efficiency.
Making business continuity training real and relevant
All our trainers have operational experience which means they bring their business continuity training alive with real life examples and experience of 'working in the field'. They will also use case studies from your sector or organisation to guarantee relevance.
Putting business continuity principles into practice
To further augment learning, we can deliver facilitated business continuity workshops and practical sessions as part of the training course. This gives delegates the chance to put their learning into action in a safe environment with assistance at hand to answer questions. Examples of previous workshops are 'Conducting a business impact analysis' and 'Conducting a risk assessment'. Research and experience shows this leads to a step change in learning outcome.
E-learning and computer-based training
Steelhenge also develops comprehensive e-learning packages. These can be delivered to delegates as a preparatory stage to on-site training, in place of face to face training or as part of an ongoing learning programme.
